How tournament notes distributed with PT4 were created?

Postby LoveThWayYouFold » Wed Mar 11, 2015 2:20 pm

PT4 is distributed along with a set of basic notes. Most tournament notes takes into account the size of players stack or effective stack, for example:
001 - 2Bet and Folded to 3Bet when BB <= 10.5
002 - 3Bet All-In Range (Effective Stacks: BB Between 5 and 20)
003 - 3Bet Not All-In Blind vs Steal Range (Effective Stacks: BB >= 13)
004 - 3Bet All-In Blind vs Steal Range (Effective Stacks: BB >= 8)
How these figures (10.5, 5-20, 13, 8) were created? Is there some math behind them, or were they suggested by some player/book?

We consulted with Shaun Deeb - a well known and well respected tournament professional - and those were the ranges he thought offered the best value for these notes.

Should you disagree, you can of course modify your note definitions.
