i would like to export my session data from PTO into a spreadsheet. is this possible?

You can export to Excel on the Summary tab, the small "e" button. That is the only place where it is possible.

it seems to start, then i get " status: an error has occured"

It that the complete message? What else does it say?
Also, what email address did you use to register the program? I have no record of the one you are using here.
