Problem with Party sit and go emails

Postby tirua » Fri Jan 02, 2009 8:28 pm

Some (50%) sit and go emails from party are not importing. the importer gos through the motions as usual but then just "stops", you get no message box that tells you it has succeeded, or anything else (or error message). I downloaded the latest patch to fix the Stars problem but it has not remedied this one.
Any Ideas?

What version of PT2 are you using? This problem was fixed a while ago, I haven't had anyone else reporting any issues.

I'm having exactly the same problem running 2.17.03f. Import just quits - no popups or anything.
I just recently reinstalled everything on a new PC including Vista for the first time.

I have followed all instructions (admin, etc.) and Stars, AB and Everest import as usual.

Party HH's import ok as well - just not e-mailed sng summaries to get final placements. Stars e-mail imports are working.

I guess it's related that Party has, a long time ago, changed their emailed tournament summaries to basically not include this information unless you are one of the final 2 players in the tournament. If you look at the emails, they no longer list the place of finish for the top 3 players (unless you are position 1 or 2) and they no longer send hand histories for AFTER you bust out like they used to. This used to allow PT the ability to get all the players places of finish. So it makes requesting the summaries after the tournament is over basically useless.
